Presentation Guidelines
Thank you for agreeing to present at the Southeast Fish & Wildlife Conference October 21-24, 2007 at the Charleston Marriott Town Center Hotel in Charleston, West Virginia. Program information is available at www.seafwa2007.org. It contains information on the final program schedule, hotel accommodations, and travel details. The information listed below will be helpful in planning for your presentation:
  1. Schedule
    • The presentation schedules are posted on the conference website- www.seafwa2007.org. Speakers in the fisheries and wildlife technical sessions will have 20 minutes for their presentation -- this includes time for Q & A. Presentation times vary for the other sessions.
  2. AV Equipment
    • Each room will have a laptop and data projector with Microsoft PowerPoint (version 2003). If you have a newer version of PowerPoint, you must save your presentation as a PowerPoint 2003 version to be compatible with our equipment. Please bring your talk to the conference on a jumpdrive/datastick or CD Rom (a backup would be helpful, just in case). Because of the timing of the sessions, there is not a lot of time between talks to change out laptops, so we would ask that you abide by this requirement. If you need additional equipment for your presentation, please contact Cindy Delaney, Conference Coordinator at cindy@delaneymeetingevent.com.
  3. Abstracts
    • Will be posted on www.seafwa2007.org. They will be listed by track, by author’s last name. They will NOT be printed in a final program this year.

  4. Speaker Check-in
    • Please check in at the Allegheny Room located on the 2nd floor when you arrive, 24 hours prior to your talk, if possible. Have your program on jump drive or CD with you. This will enable us to load the laptops for the sessions. This room will open on Sunday at 12 noon.

  5. Registration
    • Speakers must register and pay to attend the conference. You may find complete registration information on line at www.seafwa2007.org.
Thank you for your willingness to present at the conference. We look forward to meeting you.
